Visit to the orphanage

We took Briggs to the doctor this morning and he is doing great. He's 8.8 pounds and growing fast - not surprising since he is eating a ton.

After that, we headed out to see the orphanage. We were overwhelmed by what a warm, loving place it is. If you have to leave your child in an orphanage, this is the one you want. We spent about an hour talking with the staff, playing with the kids and taking lots of photos for their parents back in the States.

The evening is a bit of a blur because jet lag is officially winning and we all slept on and off from 5 to 10ish. Now I'm wide awake at 3am while Scott and Briggs are fast asleep. So much for me being a champion sleeper.
